Mangalore Marine College and Technology celebrated Eighth Graduation Day. It was organized on Friday 19-05-2022 in the campus. The programme started with procession marching tunes, followed by an invocation. Dr. Geover J Lobo, Consultant Neurosurgeon, HOD of Neurosurgery. Fr Mullers Medical College Hospital, Mangalore delivered the Graduation Day Address. While addressing the gathering, he talked about the education, inspiration,challenges in ship sailing. He said that the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world is 'Education'. Dr. Mahendra. Motilal. Dhongadi, Principal MMCT, presided over the function. He addressed the gathering, and said, "Education is about learning to unlearn".Learning is a process and it starts with lessons of life. The events in one's life,teach the lessons which would be guiding stars forever and also quoted about leadership qualities. The dignitaries distributed the Graduation certificates to outgoing students.C/E. Pratap Rai, HOD Marine Engineering. Prof. Sunil Nayak, HOD Mechanical Engineering and C/E. Dolphy Pius Pinto, Asst HOD Marine Enginering graced the occasion. C/E. Pratap Rai, HOD Marine Engineering administered the oath to the graduates. Ms. Touheeda, the student of 6 th semester Marine Engineering delivered vote of thanks. Faculty, Staff, Students and Parents added glamour to the Graduation Day program. The program ended by national anthem.
